Yes, there will be rest days until the start of the quarterfinals, which will be played on December 9 and 10. The two semi-finals will take place on December 13 and 14 and the World Cup will culminate with the meeting for the third and fourth place on December 17 and the grand final on December 18.

The four daily matches of the group stage already have their schedule defined and will be played, in Spanish peninsular time, at 11.00, 14.00, 17.00, and 20.00. Except for the matches on the last day of each group, which will be played in pairs, at 16.00 and 20.00.

64 matches in less than a month will face the 32 best teams in the world in the first World Cup in the Middle East

The participating countries have already set their way to the title at the World Cup in Qatar, which will be held from November 21 to December 18. Of the previous world champions, only Italy will be missing, eliminated in the playoff by North Macedonia. Of the favorites, the worst luck has been Brazil which will face Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon in the first phase.

The last to get the ticket to Qatar have been Australia, Wales and Costa Rica, which had to go through the repechage. Australia first beat the United Arab Emirates and then beat Peru on penalties. Bale led Wales to the World Cup after leaving Ukraine on the road. And finally, Costa Rica beat New Zealand and will be the last member of the group in which Spain has been framed.

The Spanish team, which entered the draw in pot 1, so it avoided some of the favorites, will find itself in the group stage with Germany, Japan and Costa Rica, which beat New Zealand in the playoffs. Their first match will be against Costa Rica on November 23; on 27 November it will be Germany’s turn; and will close the group stage on December 1 against Japan. Luis Enrique’s players are presented to the appointment after having won six of the eight matches of their qualifying group, where the threat of falling in the playoff was present until the last day. There they won with a goal from Morata to Sweden (1-0), which finished second. Despite the difficulties, there is a certain atmosphere of optimism after the good role in the last European Championship, in which Spain reached the semifinals, where it was eliminated by Italy, which ended up winning the tournament.

France, the last champions, will play Australia, Denmark and Tunisia. The team led by Didier Deschamps has the challenge of improving the role of the last three winners of the tournament, Germany, Spain and Italy, who were eliminated in the group stage of the next World Cup.

The focus will also be on Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Both, who will be present except for injury, will enter the group of players who have been in five World Cups, something that only Lothar Matthäus (Germany), Rafa Márquez (Mexico), Antonio Carbajal (Mexico) and Gianluigi Buffon (Italy) have achieved.

In this table you can check all the matches of the first phase of the tournament.

The final phase:

The top 16 teams from the first phase will qualify for the knockout rounds. In the eighth, the first two of each group will face each other between December 3 and 6. On December 18 at four o’clock in the afternoon, peninsular time in Spain, the two best will play the final.

A venue with controversy

This World Cup has been involved in controversy, from the choice of the venue to the problems in the construction of the stadiums and the doubts about respect for human rights, especially those of LGBT people and women. In addition, it is the first World Cup to be played in the Middle East and in autumn due to the weather conditions of the region. This fact will modify the calendar of the main European leagues, which will stop during the celebration of the tournament.

Six cities will host the matches. In them will be the eight stadiums, all practically new and concentrated in just 370 square kilometers, figures much lower than the previous World Cup in Russia in 2018. The opening match will be played between Qatar and Ecuador at the Al Bayt stadium in Jor while the final will be at the Lusail National Stadium, with a capacity of more than 94,000 spectators.

Qatar 2022 World Cup: how much money does the champion, runner-up and qualifiers take?

It is the prize that will be bagged by the champion of the Qatar event. The runner-up will take a total of 27.27 million euros.

The team that conquers the World Cup in Qatar will pocket a figure that barely exceeds 38 million euros, as reported by FIFA on Friday after the draw for the group stage, held at the Exhibition and Congress Center in Doha.

This was announced by FIFA, which has saved the best of its prizes (38.03 million) for that team that triumphs on December 18, 2022, the date set for the final of the World Championship. The runner-up of the tournament will take a total of 27.27 million euros.

There will also be a difference between the semi-finalists based on their fight for third place. In this case, the country that climbs the podium will enter an amount of 24.45 million euros, while the fourth classified will have to ‘settle’ with 22.64 million.

In addition, the rest of the teams will also enter an economic incentive in relation to their classification in the appointment in three brackets. In this way, from the 5th to the 8th classified will take 15.40 million each Federation; while from the 9th to the 16th will be 11.7 million euros.

Finally, from 17th to 32nd, regardless of whether or not they exceed the group stage, all national teams participating in the World Cup in Qatar will enter an amount of 8 million euros. Figures regardless of what each Federation agrees with its templates by objectives or awards.

How much money does the World Cup winner take?

The team that manages to win the Qatar 2022 World Cup will pocket a total of 42 million dollars (38 million euros).

This is how the World Cup draw was

The 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa was the 19th edition of the FIFA World Cup. It began on June 11 and ended on July 11, the first time this tournament was held in Africa and for the fifth time in the southern hemisphere.
204 of FIFA’s 208 member national associations registered to participate in the qualifying process, which took place between mid-2007 and the end of 2009, to determine the 32 teams participating in the final phase of the tournament, surpassing the previous tournament’s record of 197 participants.
The championship consisted of two phases: in the first, eight groups of four teams each were formed, with the two best teams from each group advancing to the next round. The sixteen qualified teams then faced each other in knockout matches to reach the two teams that played in the final at Johannesburg’s Soccer City stadium.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa was the 19th edition of the FIFA World Cup. It began on June 11 and ended on July 11, the first time this tournament was held in Africa and for the fifth time in the southern hemisphere.

The sixteen qualified teams then faced each other in knockout matches to reach the two teams that played in the final at Johannesburg’s Soccer City stadium.

Prior to the tournament, South Africa invested millions of dollars to be in a position to host one of the most important sporting events on the planet. Nearly 2 million tickets were put on sale to attend the 64 matches, to be played in 10 stadiums located throughout the country, half of which were new. In preparation for the event, the host country had previously organized the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 in the cities of Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Rustenburg.

Several teams returned to this World Cup after many years of absence: North Korea, which had not participated since 1966, Honduras and New Zealand since 1982, Algeria since 1986, and Greece since 1994. These teams were joined by Slovakia and Serbia, although teams from the latter two nations had participated in previous World Cups, but represented now disintegrated countries: Czechoslovakia in the case of the former, and Yugoslavia and later Serbia and Montenegro in the case of the latter.

During the first round, 101 goals were scored, the lowest number of goals scored during the group stage since there have been thirty-two participants. The Conmebol teams became the main dominators of that phase, with all five teams advancing to the second round, with only one defeat in fifteen matches played. On the other hand, Europe and Africa were disappointed: six of the thirteen European teams and only one of the six African teams advanced to the next phase. Among those eliminated were the two finalists from the previous World Cup, Italy and France, as well as South Africa, which became the first host team in history to fail to advance to the second stage.

In the second round, South America continued its streak by qualifying one team from each of the groups, but only Uruguay survived in the quarterfinals and qualified for the semifinals along with three Europeans: Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands. Spain thus achieved its first appearance in the semifinals, bearing in mind that in 1950, despite finishing in fourth place, the last round consisted of a group stage. Finally, although five of the top ten finishers belonged to the South American Confederation, the three podium finishers were teams from the Union of European Associations.

The entire tournament was marked by significant refereeing errors that influenced the course of several matches, including the final itself.

After the consecration of Spain, this World Cup was the first one played outside Europe in which a European team was proclaimed champion, and it was also the first time since 1998 that a team without previous World Cups won, as well as the first time since 1978 that two teams without World Cups faced each other in the final, and the first time since 1962 that Europe and South America did not alternate the World Cup champion, since in the previous edition the champion was also European (Italy).

We will never forget it. Some people will be able to die peacefully after this. Spain is the world champion in the most dramatic final in living memory. Iniesta’s goal, in the second half of extra time, did justice to an unforgettable team and consecrates a player who is the paradigm of humility, the farthest thing from a soccer star but with the virtues of a phenomenon. We still don’t know where the pale Iniesta got those tenths of a second to keep his cool, lower his heart rate and finish with his right foot the most important ball in the history of Spanish soccer.

The match was terrifying from start to finish. Terror because Spain could only play their game in bursts. And terror because the Dutch school was not the usual one, but a school of ill-faced thugs led by Van Bommel, the king of the suburbs in this World Cup. The way the Clockwork Orange approached the match was dirty and slum-like, totally far from the postulates that have taken them to three World Cup finals.

The Clockwork Orange’s approach to the match was dirty and slum-like, a far cry from the principles that have taken them to three World Cup finals. Cruyff should have been ashamed

So much violence unhinged Spain, which never found its touch and, therefore, it’s the way. Even so, they were the team that most insisted on imposing their style. It took them almost 120 minutes to get the glory. Demasiada demora.1278873833279_fotosagencias_20100711_203740

The start was good. The Netherlands struggled to get a proper foothold on the field. The Red took advantage of the quarter of an hour to shoot two or three defeats that could have been a goal. That had traces of resembling the match against Germany. In other words, something overwhelming and not too difficult.

Later it was proven that it was naive to think so. The Netherlands was armed in every way. The team was well-positioned and their players began to distribute in the face of the neglect of Webb, the worst referee on the planet. There were actions by Van Bommel and De Jong that deserved a straight red card. Far from it, the referee was dedicated to chatting with them.

Spain left the game. By taking a lot of punishment, they moved away from the textbook. The break was a blessing because it served to clear their minds. The Netherlands responded to a promising restart with more kicks and, even worse, with a knife: the counter-attack. Robben stood alone in front of Casillas twice, and both times the goalkeeper won the ball.

It took until the 116th minute to get there. Any Spaniard who managed to reach that minute with his cardiovascular system intact was able to enjoy the moment.

La Roja, in fits and starts, also arrived. Sometimes the excess of adornment, other times the imprecision, and, one more, a defender under the posts prevented the goal.

Del Bosque brought on Navas to look for the one-on-one. Holland was up to its eyebrows in cards. Iniesta and Xavi’s play between the lines was gaining ground. Cesc came on to accompany them. The good game flowed in dribbles. But it was flowing.

The Netherlands, who had spent 80 minutes giving them a hard time, lost steam and intensity. The only thing left was the whiplash of a counterattack. But if anyone could and deserved to score, it was Spain. Extra time arrived. La Roja had two very clear chances. But they had to suffer until the 116th minute. Iniesta went in like a knife through hot butter.

Every Spaniard who managed to reach that minute with his cardiovascular system intact could enjoy the moment. Even today and in the days to come, they can still lick their lips at the finish. Spain is the World Champion of soccer and suffering. Perhaps that is why this victory tastes better.

In the small details, we also have to show that we are the best. Andrés Iniesta, who scored the goal of his life after scoring the only goal of the World Cup final in South Africa, dedicated such an important goal to the late Dani Jarque.

It was undoubtedly the moment of the night. All the players went to embrace Iniesta, but they let the WHOLE WORLD see and read that in heaven we also have several champions. Dani Jarque passed away on August 8, 2009, after he lost consciousness in his hotel room during a training camp with Espanyol. The defender was in the best moment of his career and even the doors of the Spanish national team were wide open for him. With this gesture, Iniesta wanted to pay tribute to a player who is still very present in the hearts of all Spaniards.

The Spanish national team is once again at the top of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) rankings. Their victory over the Netherlands in the World Cup final has catapulted them to the top of the rankings for the third time, behind the ‘Orange’ team. Spain, with 1883 points, is ahead of both the Netherlands, finalists in South Africa with 1,659 points, and Brazil, third with 1,536 points, who occupy the next positions in the table.

Spain’s victory last Sunday in Johannesburg not only gave the national team its first world title but also guaranteed its appearance, for the third time, at the top of the world team rankings.

Brazil, third on the list, lost a total of 75 points in this period. Among the most notable movements was that of Chile, which moved up eight places to tenth position. and Uruguay, sixth in the table after gaining ten positions.
On the other side of the table are Italy, eleventh, which has lost six places, and France, which after its disastrous performance in the World Cup falls to the twenty-first position after losing twelve places.

Qatar 2022 World Cup tickets: where to buy them and authorized websites

The most common route is through FIFA, which has already placed 800,000 seats and is entering Phase 2. There is also another route, with MATCH Hospitality packages.

The Spanish National Team already knows the path it will have to follow in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which will take place between November 21 and December 18 this year. Spain has been drawn into Group E, paired with Germany, Japan and the winner of the playoff between New Zealand and Costa Rica. Now begins the battle to get tickets for the World Cup, for which there are two ways.

The most common and the one that most fans will resort to is through FIFA, the organizing entity and, therefore, the one that manages the sale of tickets for the World Cup. Phase 1 of the process has already been completed, with more than 800,000 tickets already in place, and since April 5, Phase 2 began for those who wish to apply for tickets, of different types:

qatar 2022 world cup

Single tickets:

these are seats for a specific match, available in four price categories.

Supporter tickets:

these are group stage tickets for fans of a specific national team, available in three price categories.

Conditional Supporter Tickets:

for supporters who wish to reserve a seat for one of their national team’s possible matches in the knockout rounds, available in three price categories.

Four-stadium pass: tickets for fans wishing to experience the unique atmosphere of four different stadiums on consecutive days.

Accessibility tickets:

these are part of any of the above ticket products and provide people with disabilities and reduced mobility access to adapted facilities and venues covering a wide range of requirements.

Phase 2 will run until April 28, 2022, at 11:00 CET. During this sales period, the date on which applications are submitted is irrelevant – it does not matter whether they are submitted on the first or last day – as all tickets will be allocated after the end of the application phase. In the event that demand exceeds the available quota for the domestic or international market, tickets will be allocated by lottery. All applicants will receive a communication no earlier than May 31, 2022, informing them whether their application has been partially or fully accepted or rejected, and providing instructions to be followed and the deadline for payment of the allocated tickets.

MATCH Hospitality, the other way

This is how the FIFA process is going at the moment; the other way is to purchase tickets through hospitality packages, which are sold by MATCH Hospitality, the only company that holds the exclusive worldwide rights to sell these packages for Qatar 2022.

“Thanks to the Team Specific Series, fans will be able to purchase tickets for all three group stage matches and their team’s hypothetical round of 16 and quarter-final matches. Depending on their interests, there is also the Single Match Package to attend just one of those five matches,” the company says.

In the case of the Spanish national team, this hospitality package would allow fans to enjoy La Roja’s matches at Al Zumama Stadium, Al Bait Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, and Education City Stadium Al Yanub Stadium, depending on where they finish the group stage. For those traveling to Qatar who prefers the experience of watching all matches played in the same stadium, MATCH Hospitality also offers that possibility through the Venue Series. These exclusive packages are available to enjoy all matches played at a particular venue.

Women's World Cup 2019: much more than soccer "The group has worked hard to get this cup"

France hosts the eighth Women’s World Cup, the most eagerly awaited in history due to the unstoppable growth of a sport that is fighting like never before to break down barriers.
“Dare to shine” is the slogan FIFA has chosen for this World Cup – Dare to shine! Let go, free yourself from prejudices, take risks, don’t be afraid to make mistakes, and enjoy yourself. This Friday the eighth Women’s World Cup kicks off in France with the match between the hosts and Korea (21.00, GolTV): the World Cup of vindication, of the fight for equal conditions. The girls also play, the girls – as the German internationals say – do not have balls, but they know how to use them.
Ada Hegerberg, the reigning Ballon d’Or, has decided to quit because of discrimination. In 2017 she announced that she would not attend this event if the conditions under which the men’s national team competes were not equalized: money, infrastructure, planning, accommodation, and so on. The American women, who led the fight in 2015 for the World Cup in Canada to be played on natural grass -something that ultimately did not happen-, are now demanding through a class-action lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles court that their federation stops discriminating against them. They are paid less than the men despite the fact that the women’s team has generated more profits, played and won more matches and championships [three-time world champions], and has drawn a larger audience.
The German women, eight-time European champions, and one World Cup champion tell in a video that for their first title they received a set of coffee. They say they play for a country that doesn’t even know their names and that since they started playing soccer they have had to fight not only against their rivals but also against prejudices such as the idea that women are for having babies and doing the laundry.
The Spanish women fight to be considered elite sportswomen and to have an agreement -35% of the women soccer players in the First Divisi

They say they play for a country that doesn’t even know their names and that since they started playing soccer they have had to fight not only against their rivals but also against prejudices such as the idea that women are for having babies and doing the laundry.

The Spanish women fight to be considered elite sportswomen and to have an agreement -35% of the women soccer players in the First Division have a 10-hour work contract. The Argentinian women consider it an achievement to be able to play in women’s jerseys. The Italian women have managed to qualify for the tournament, something their male counterparts did not do at the last World Cup in Russia, and they still have to put up with comments like that of Fulvio Collovati, world champion in 1982, who says that when he hears a woman talk about tactics it makes him sick to his stomach. South African soccer is one of the few that boasts egalitarian measures. Its women’s team, making its debut in France, will receive the same goal awards as the men’s team.

“This past year we have taken a step forward at the Wanda the international attendance record for a club duel was broken with 60,739 spectators at an Atletico-Barcelona. Let’s hope that this World Cup will be another turning point. We want women’s soccer to reach every home and get people hooked on the game for good,” said Silvia Meseguer, Spain’s midfield lighthouse on Wednesday. The national team is playing its second World Cup in France. It has gone from receiving a cup as a gift to a car, from not playing preparatory friendlies to facing the biggest world powers from not having an analyst of the rivals to having an entire team and traveling with a psychologist.

The players recognize that physically they are below the world powers, (United States, Germany, France, England), but that little by little they are getting closer. In Canada, they did not get past the first phase, that World Cup will be remembered as the one of the rebellions against the old and macho methods of Nacho Quereda, who ended up resigning. Spain has not stopped reaping success at the lower levels, where the physicality is more equal and quality is more important. In this World Cup, the goal is to reach the round of 16.

The VAR will be used for the first time in France, but the teams will not be able to train at the stadium the day before the match. A simple “familiarization” of the field of play is planned. The World Cup will be broadcast in 135 countries and will reach one million people. FIFA has contributed 50 million dollars (44.3 million euros) to this World Cup: it has distributed 10,208,000 to the federations for the organization of friendlies and the construction and improvement of facilities. In addition, and for the first time, it will compensate clubs for the loan of players (7.5 million). France has invested 70 million. At the men’s tournament in Russia in 2018, the expenditure amounted to about 2,000. It’s time for women. In France: soccer and much more are at stake.

Bad Luck Ukraine: Wales qualified for World Cup in Qatar with good luck

Wales has qualified for the World Cup in Qatar at the end of this year. In the decisive match against Ukraine, it was a very flattering 1-0 in a wet Cardiff for the Welshmen, who for the first time in 64 years can go to a World Cup.

Wales has qualified for the World Cup in Qatar

Ukraine proved earlier this week that it was in good spirits by beating Scotland 1-3 en route to the deciding match against Wales. In that match, the Ukrainians showed particular strength and forced most of the chances. Only problem? The ball didn’t go into the goal. A little after the half-hour, Ukraine then got the lid on the game. Gareth Bale kicked a free-kick towards the goal and the unlucky Yarmolenko deviated it into his own goal. Particularly unfortunate for the visitors.

Moments later, Joe Allen fouled the same Yarmolenko in the penalty area. An eleven meter seemed to be coming, but both referee Lahoz and VAR saw no bones in it.

Immediately after the break, Wales had a unique opportunity through Ramsey to give Ukraine a second boost, but his shot went wide. Ukraine did not give up and quickly regained its momentum from the first period. However, big chances for Tsygankov, Yaremchuk, Malinovskyi, and Dovbyk did not go past Wayne Hennessey. In between, Johnson hit the post for the home team and Buschkan saved Bale. For the first time since 1958 Wales qualified for a World Cup. After a strong game, it was not to be for Ukraine. In Qatar, Wales will be in Group B with England, Iran, and the United States.

30 of the 32 countries that qualified for the World Cup in Qatar are already known. Later this month, the two intercontinental playoffs are also scheduled. On June 14, Costa Rica will play New Zealand and one day earlier Peru will meet the winner of the Asian playoffs. The United Arab Emirates will play Australia on June 7.

The 2014 World Cup’s alleged “Gathering of Death” is by both agreement and normal group positioning viewed as the one that the Americans had arrived in Group G.

The U.S. men’s public group should be fruitful against any semblance of Germany, Portugal, and Ghana to proceed onward to the knockout stage. Every one of the four groups has a sensible possibility of making it to the second round. Germany is among a modest bunch of top choices to win the entire thing with their profoundly capable and tried crew. The man drives Portugal thought to be the world’s best soccer player: Cristiano Ronaldo. Ghana has thumped the U.S. out of the last two World Cups in succession.

U.S. lead trainer Jurgen Klinsmann is attempting to depict cool certainty about the gathering heading into the competition.

“Clearly, it’s quite possibly the most troublesome gatherings in the entire draw,” U.S. Men’s National Team lead trainer Jurgen Klinsmann enlightened ESPN in the wake of hearing concerning his draw. “It couldn’t get any more troublesome or any greater. However, that is what is the issue here. It’s a genuine test, and we’ll take it. We’ll take it on, and ideally, we will shock a few groups there.”

Another gathering that could be viewed as a “Gathering of Death” is suitably named “Gathering D” – and it is likewise a merciless one: Italy, England, Uruguay, and Costa Rica.

The Awards 2014 FIFA World Cup played in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July 2014. The following awards were given after the tournament:

FIFA World Cup 2014 Awards

Golden Ball:

An honor given to the best part in the competition was seemingly the hardest race possible. Squawka Football separated the greatest names in the race dependent on their hostile capacity:

While these five players have each been great, it was significant not to preclude the midfielders and protectors who had worked really hard of holding adversaries back from scoring, which is similarly imperative to winning.

Furthermore, the citizens couldn’t settle on a choice until after the last since Germany was addressed on the waitlist by Mats Hummels, Toni Kroos, Philipp Lahm, and Thomas Mueller. At the same time, Argentina likewise highlighted Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano, and the harmed Angel Di Maria.

With just three players (James Rodriguez, Neymar, and Arjen Robben) not contending in the finals, obviously, this would have been a serious honor.

Eventually, the citizens concluded that Messi was the awesome pack, notwithstanding his misfortune in the last match against Germany. Steven Goff of The Washington Post gave a glance at the Silver and Bronze victors also:

This proceeds with an intriguing pattern for the Golden Ball to go to a player not in the triumphant group, as indicated by Infostrada Sports:

Investigator Ives Galarcep was one of numerous who couldn’t help contradicting the choice:

Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports gave a substitute arrangement:

In any case, Messi scored four objectives with one help to help carry his side to the finals. This was a noteworthy achievement for seemingly the best part on the planet.

Golden Ball is given to the outstanding player at the FIFA World Cup. The players who finish second and third are given the Silver Ball and Bronze Ball, respectively.
Golden Ball: Argentina, Lionel Messi
Silver Ball: Germany, Thomas Müller
Bronze Ball: Netherlands, Arjen Robben

On 11 July 2014, the FIFA Technical Study Group announced the ten-player shortlist for the Golden Ball award.

Argentina Ángel Di María
Germany, Mats Hummels
Germany, Toni Kroos
Germany, Philipp Lahm
Argentina, Javier Mascherano
Argentina, Lionel Messi
Germany, Thomas Müller
Brazil, Neymar
Netherlands, Arjen Robben
Colombia, James Rodríguez

Golden Boot:

This is the solitary honor of the bundle that isn’t cast a ballot upon as it is given to the top scorer in the competition. On account of a tie, the honor goes to the player who has the most helps, trailed by who scored his objectives at all measure of playing time.

There were three players with a genuine possibility of winning the honor heading into the last. Mueller required one objective to coordinate with Rodriguez, albeit the German star would have the sudden death round based on his three bits of help. Messi, in the interim, required a full cap stunt to top the rundown.

Nonetheless, neither of the top scorers had the option to come through in the last as Mario Goetze gave the solitary objective shortly of play.

Subsequently, Rodriguez had the option to complete as the champ despite playing just five matches in Brazil:

Bryan Armen Graham of MicNews analyzes the youth’s creation to another gifted scorer:

With Colombia prone to return as a possible competitor, later on, you can envision the 23-year-old player will be a top pick to win another of these honors a long time from now.

Golden Boot: Colombia, James Rodríguez
Silver Boot: Germany, Thomas Müller
Bronze Boot: Brazil, Neymar

Golden Glove:
